Ballarat Trans & Gender Diverse Clothing Swap Shop
Offering members of the LGBTIQA+ community a safe space to grab themselves gender-affirming clothing, at zero cost.
Each season, we hold events around “season appropriate clothing” – such as light clothing for Summer. Each event is free to attend and is advertised on Facebook – clothing donations are accepted on the day of each event, but are not required.
Whether it’s Chillout or Trans Day of Awareness, we’ve been known to pop-up at community events! Keep an eye out for us at your next LGBTIQA+ community event, and we might just be there!

Sometimes, events can be overwhelming. Or simply just don’t align with your calendar! And we totally understand that; which is why we offer private appointments for people to come and grab items, one-on-one.
We are always accepting clothing donations, and we accept all types of clothing – however we do have a few rules when it comes to donations, we ask the following:
- Please only donate items in good, wearable condition – clothing that you would still wear yourself.
- Do not donate used cosmetics or beauty products – as these can lead to bacteria cross-contamination.
- Bras and binders must be new with tags! – we do not accept used underwear.
- Shoes should be in relatively good condition.
We ask that you do not donate bedding, books, children/toddler clothing, household goods, ect.
We are currently setting up the option to accept financial donations through PayPal. If you’d like to donate financially before we set up the PayPal options, please email us directly.
If you’re interested in donating goods or services, please contact us via email or Facebook and let us know – as we’re interested in helping you help the community!
